We went the opposite way to the runners and as extra cable cars were running varied our route from the previous hike. First we went up the Panorama chair lift and met up with runners as they completed 15 KM. We were still fresh!. We stopped for coffee and watched them grab for the water cups.
We have cropped out the runners. They were just not up to our standard
We went back down by chair lift and were still feeling frisky
We went up yet another cable car and then the real hike started! About 12 or 15 KM around the perimeter of the high alpine meadow with steep climbs and just as difficult descents.
Looking down on the village of Ortisei that we visited yesterday. Over 1000 metres straight down!
The scenery is spectacular
Looking down on our town of Castelrotto
By the time we walked back to the chairlift down we had reached our limit. Drove back to our hotel and took in the views prior to a short nap
We considered the hot tub but settled for a snooze
We actually walked into the town for drinks and dinner. Things are quiet on a Sunday evening!
In no time Gail had four drinks lined up!
We started with Gnocchetti di spinaci con funferli freschi, Delicious Tyrolean dish

I'm sure you will understand when I say glad I'm not there!
Harrison says that looks cool and sends his love. Alex said not to tell you he is sleeping in your bed tonight.
We are typing from your place at Forster.
Much love
Amanda, Stu, Harrison and Alex
LOL, I'm typing from your place in Drummoyne. But I'd rather be there! :-)
The photos are awesome for all of the trip. Looks a lot warmer there than in Sydney.
