This is the fountain at the Town Hall that we saw this morning
Our afternoon walk started with a visit to the new Concert Hall and Opera house. Called Elbphilharmonie. This shot was actually taken later when we crossed the River Elbe by tunnel. It was rather odd to walk so far under the river. Like being able to walk the Sydney harbour tunnel any day.
We planned lots of other visits but ended up taking the S Bahn back to the hotel.
We did go out again , The first to a Supermarket and for a drink and the second back to the Brodersen Restaurant for another stunning meal. It has to be good to get us back a second time when there are others to try. We ate dishes with Pfifferlinge mushroom only found in July and August.
