Miraflores

We spent a great day at the upmarket district of Miraflores. It is located on the Pacific Ocean so we have now fully crossed the two Americas. North- West to East and South- East to West!

Lima is in the desert but there are frequent fogs. It could also be smog! A board riders type of beach

The Larcomar Mall is the pride of Peru. Smart and expensive with restaurants with a view

                                                                Sorry the bags are full!

One of the special identities of Peru that we had previously met in London is Paddington. This was a gift of the City of London to the City of Lima.

Paddington Bear is looking very well and sends his love

We walked around the shoreline with great views until we reached Parque Del Amor. An interesting walk with lots of open space, something that is often lacking in Lima.

Gail looking down on the beach and the pier.

                                                               The pier

Gail at the Parque Del Amor

                                                         Lots of loving going on!

Before we returned to our hotel we walked along the Avenue Jose Larco to the City Hall and gardens. We also shopped at the local markets and now need to repack the bags!
