Paritins was our next port of call as we sailed up the Amazon. The highlight was a visit to the Bumbadome where the Boi Bumba is celebrated each June. Later we saw a performance by the current champion team. A stunning performance with outstanding costumes, staging and dancing.
We were given a private viewing of the historic costume display. Gail tried on a small one!
The town is divided into two teams, red and blue. The Blue team has the black bull and the red team the white bull.
