Ljubjana - a Beautiful City

The bridge just down from our hotel has flowers on each side.

Ljubjana seems to be a city for the young...... but these 2 oldies are really enjoying it.

We spent our first afternoon strolling and enjoying the sights.Everywhere there are young people as well as many outdoor cafes, bars and lots of public squares. About 20% of the population of Ljubjana are university students.

Slovenia only has about 2 million people It was part of the former Yugoslavia and gained independence in 1991, joined the EU in 2004 and converted to the euro currency in 2007.

You're only as old as you feel. Sauntering around Europe, you guys must feel pretty young these days. :)
