- Attend a Lordi concert. Finland is the home of this heavy metal band that won Eurovision last year with an act featuring meat and exploding dolls as stage props.
- Visit Sonkajarvi for the Wife Carrying World Championships. This is conducted over a 253 metre course with obstacles and a 15 second penalty if you drop your wife. First prize is your wife's weight in beer.
- Visit Oulu for the Air Guitar World Championships.

Obviously there is a lot of...um...culture in Finland. Must be something to do with those long winters nights.
Not sure why you don't want to win Mum's weight in beer though!
Graham is getting into training as we speak...
Actually we were going to enter but Gail has lost so much weight that it was no longer worth while!
Also the Championships were held about 2 weeks ago. This will give Graham lots of time to train.
Blimey. I would SO make John enter that contest. then I would drink all the beer.
After I drank all the beer I may enter the air guitar competition.
However there is not enough beer in the world for me to go to a Lordi concert.
don't like your chances against Estonia men consdering they have won event every year since 1998 it actually got quite bit press coverage
More things we don't plan to do in Finland will follow.
There is a prize of a Lordi postcard for the person who demonstrates that they want it most. There is an age limit of 18 plus. Please indicate if you want it in Finnish or English.
